Genome identity

A genome is a sealed package that binds model identity, instructions, memory architecture, tool contracts, policies and capability claims into one certified unit — the thing that is born, evaluated and, eventually, retired.

Immutable cognitive core

A genome cannot edit itself. New model. New genome. New generation — meaningful cognitive change always produces a new challenger rather than silently rewriting an existing citizen.

Lineage

Every generation records what it descended from. A challenger that wins task share does not erase its predecessor's history — the city keeps the full lineage as institutional memory.

Phenotype

The genome is the design; the phenotype is how it actually behaves under real conditions. Two agents built from similar genomes can diverge in phenotype once they meet different situations, tools and authority ceilings.

Model attestation

Before a genome enters testing, its model identity and provenance are attested. Trust in a generation starts with knowing, verifiably, what it actually is.

Academy

Newly born agents develop capability under controlled conditions before they compete for real work — the Academy is where a genome becomes a credible candidate, not yet a citizen with task share.

Accreditation

Accreditation turns a capability claim into evidence-backed permission to work. An agent does not self-declare what it can do — it earns the right to attempt it.
